Harvester plays its first live show in over five years on Aug. 23 at Harlows in Sacramento with our old pals the Toad Mortons. It’s an early show that starts at 5:30. It’s all ages so you can (and should) bring your kids. Let’s hope Harlows is stocked up on Sprite. The band is excited to play some songs off the recently released Mt. Tallac album, as well as some old hits. You can read about the slow-motion birth of Mt. Tallac here.
As with the Mt. Tallac album, Ario Lynch will be on drums. Will the 40-something version of Harvester be any more mature and refined? I’m guessing probably not. The Steve Bryant gang have come back to being the Toad Mortons after claiming to be the Universal Steve for some years. The current line-up features ex-Thin White Rope guitar assassin, Roger Kunkel. They have a brand new recording called Beauty Lies. Check out “Nothing Hard Wasted.”
